Macao Intellectual Property Service Center - Core Service System
Guided by service, our center systematically improves the intellectual property awareness, literacy and innovation capabilities of faculty, students, researchers of Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) as well as Macao residents. We promote technological innovation and achievement transformation, and build a sound intellectual property system through training, consulting guidance, patent data services, decision support and competition assistance to support the development of the university.
1. Intellectual Property Training

Improve the intellectual property literacy of faculty, students and researchers of MUST.
Popularize patent knowledge (historical connotation, classification functions, basic processes).
Integrate into the library's i-MUST Wisdom Lecture Series to build an information literacy brand.
2. Consulting Guidance and Publicity Promotion

Answer basic patent/trademark questions and guide resource retrieval.
Assist in patent/trademark applications and connect with professional agency organizations.
Conduct novelty searches before application to reduce application risks.
Conduct multi-channel publicity to improve public awareness of intellectual property.
3. Patent Data, Decision Support and Patent Transfer Services
Core Service Content
Data Services: Build a patent database and provide data statistics.
Decision Support: Compile patent competitiveness and academic influence analysis reports to assist decision-making.
Patent Transfer: Evaluate high-value patents from multiple dimensions and build a full-chain transformation service.
4. Assisting in Competition Awards and Industry-University-Research Improvement
Core Service Content
Competition Assistance: Support teams to participate in high-end competitions such as GBA High-value Patent Competition.
Full-process Support: Assist in patent evaluation, screening and system filling.
Value Goal: Highlight scientific research strength, attract students and partners, and enhance Greater Bay Area/international reputation.
